We hope this website will prove useful both to new patients and to patients who may have been registered with us for many years. We aim to provide a comprehensive and professional service and we hope the following information will enable you to make full use of the Health Centre.
The building has disabled access and facilities, including a hearing loop.
The doctors, practice nurses, counsellors and administrative staff work in conjunction with the district nurses, midwives, health visitors, school nurses and auxiliary nurses to form a Primary Health Care team. We believe that by working together within that ‘Team’ we can provide a comprehensive service to our patients in the community. We are committed to the values of traditional General Practice and we want to provide the best possible service.
The doctors operate a 'personal list' system and therefore ALL our patients (including children) have a named accountable GP to take responsibility for their care.
The practice also operates a Minor Injuries service which is available from 8am until 6.30pm from Monday to Friday. Any injury should have occurred in the last 48 hours and no appointment is necessary to access this service.
The practice is also participating in the improved access scheme which gives patients more opportunities to see a local GP every weekday evening up until 6-30pm and 8Pm on Mondays
